  After a third party site messed up our booking, the staff were more than happy to help us find a solution. They responded in a friendly, businesslike manner and the issue was resolved. My family and I thank you for the hard work. Rooms are very large and clean. Pool is well tended and refreshing. I rarely give 5 stars for overnight stays but I am extremely pleased with all aspects of this lodging.

  Would not recommend unless you like to time travel. Rooms are 90s style at best. No remote for tv. Parking and noise not attended to. Terrible rooms. Very very basic. Bed ok, hence the 1 star. To improve they should spend some money updating the carpet, kitchenette etc.

  Been staying at the Big Windmill twice a year for the last four years but sadly my most recent stay will be my last. Since new management has taken over there has been a decline in quality of service. Our last stay we had near cold showers and there was no water pressure. When complained to the staff we were told the plumber was coming to fix it but after 4 nights the situation did not improve. No compensation was offered to us either. I find the new staff not friendly. Also when you say you have WiFi maybe you should mention it's capped to 200mb. The owners need to go back to the old managers.

  We were very surrprised by the size if the room and how clean it was! There was a queen bed and a single and massive amount of room for our portacot. Our room was towards the back of the property and to our shock quiet!

  Pleasant place to stay. Friendly family run business. Value for money clean rooms with all the amenities you need for an over night stay. Restaurant available or room service.

  The lounge and bathroom could do with an upgrade but everything was spotless.
